Let's Encrypt

All of the sites and pages on the kn6q.org server are now encrypted via FREE SSL certificates from https://letsencrypt.org , specifically using the tools from https://www.sslforfree.com/.

I've installed public certificates on websites and web services for work for years, so I knew how expensive and sometimes painful they were to request, verify, and install. Let's Encrypt makes it free and relatively easy and is backed by some major industry players (unlike some cheap/free cert providers that have bit the dust). Now small personal sites and sites for volunteer organizations can offer secure access and forms without passwords and other information exposed in the clear over the internet. Check them out and add that lock to your webpage too!
